Love your pasta? Can’t live without spaghetti?

Give courgetti a go! I invested a few pounds and bought myself a Spiralizer – yes, another gadget in the kitchen cupboard but definitely one of the best purchases ever!

In mere seconds you can make yourself delicious courgetti and using just one courgette you can make 4 servings! Serve it with anything you like, pesto, carbonara, Bolognese…the choices are endless (nothing sugary though of course!). Plus it’s quicker too – just add it to your cooked ingredients for just a couple of minutes and then it’s ready to serve.

And the best thing is that courgette is packed full of nutrients:

  • vitamins A, B, C, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc and carotenes
  • It’s good for the digestive and nervous systems, particularly beneficial for dyspepsia, gastrointestinal problems, alleviates bladder and kidney inflammation and helps with insomnia.

  1. Mel, this is a brilliant thing to share….well done to you for getting it all together and love the courgetti…must try it! Wish you every success in the new venture. You’re a great role model for a healthy lifestyle and eating pattern. Here’s to your future!x

  2. Thanks Jane! I’m glad you enjoyed the blog on “Courgetti” – I am sure if you give it a try you will be converted! (If you don’t happen to have a Spiralizer then just use a veggie peeler to make your own version of ribbon pasta, works just as well).
